About the roleAs a data scientist at Booz Allen, you will turn complex data sets from diverse sectors—such as fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence—into actionable insights. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions, dig into data‑rich environments, develop algorithms and systems, and present clear, data‑driven answers that enable informed decisions.

What you will doYou’ll use your analytical skills and data science knowledge to create real‑world impact. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, dig into their data‑rich environments, develop algorithms and systems, and provide a deep understanding of the data, its meaning, and its usefulness.
You Have- Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
- Experience with statistical and general‑purpose programming languages for data analysis
- Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
- Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses and visualization of targeted data sources
- Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs
- Experience building and applying machine learning techniques
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience developing algorithms with R, Python, or SQL and No
SQL - Experience with distributed data and computing tools such as Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
- Experience with visualization packages including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
- Experience working with Air Force clients
- Experience managing teams and building trusted client relationships
- Experience creating visually compelling PowerPoint decks and other client‑delivery products
- Experience working with Advana or Vault
- TS/SCI clearance

CompensationOur compensation ranges from $77,600.00 to $ annually (USD). This range is one component of the total compensation package and is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and experience.

Work Model- Remote: the role may require occasional in‑person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
- Hybrid: you will work frequently from a Booz Allen facility and may be required to visit a customer facility.
- Onsite: work will be primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
