Position Overview

Broad Agency Announcement Coordinator & Acquisition Support Specialist. Full-time in Arlington, VA (Ballston area). Provides support to Government office leadership—Office Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director for Program Management (ADPM), Program Analyst—and interacts regularly with Government Program Managers (PMs) and their support teams to help navigate acquisition processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Government PMs and their support teams in selecting acquisition approaches and support them through related development and approval processes.
  • Serve as TTO point‑of‑contact and coordinator for program and office‑wide acquisition processes, interfacing with Government leadership on process improvements and updates.
  • Support drafting, routing, and posting of program acquisition documentation, solicitations, and announcements such as RFIs, RFPs, BAAs, etc.
  • Manage the TTO Office‑Wide BAA process—track proposals and coordinate review and potential sponsorship by TTO PMs.
  • Post synopsis and award announcements on SAM and Federal Grants websites; coordinate, assemble, and update electronic and hard‑copy solicitation, contract, and contract‑related files.
  • Provide recommendations and insight into the development, structuring, and execution of procurement contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and other transactions.
  • Recommend source‑selection policies and processes and support their implementation and execution.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; substantial relevant occupational experience (~10+ years) may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of acquisition documentation—RFIs, RFPs, SNs, BAAs, J&A.
  • Professionalism, maturity, sound judgment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills for daily interactions with executive‑level audiences.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting as circumstances dictate.
  • Strong writing skills; highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on‑site full‑time at DARPA in Arlington, VA.
Highly Desired Attributes
  • Prior DARPA experience, especially familiarity with the BAA process and coordinator role.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Familiarity with DARPA’s BAAM and BAAT applications.
  • Familiarity with SBIR/STTR programs.
  • General knowledge and experience with acquisition awards such as Cooperative Agreements and Other Transactions (Section 845 Agreements).
  • Experience supporting other ARPA agencies (ARPA‑H, IARPA, ARPA‑E, etc.).
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification.
Compensation Details

$100,000 – $170,000. The range is a good‑faith estimate; actual compensation may vary based on job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
