We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem. The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best‑of‑breed technology to the government.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Support Analyst – Maritime Sensing (ONR 321MS) to join our team!
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical and analytical support for S&T programs related to ASW and MIW technologies.
- Extract, analyze, and organize complex technical data including system design, performance metrics, and cost analysis.
- Support development and execution of test plans for maritime sensing technologies across TRL 1–7.
- Assist in the evaluation and integration of:
- Underwater acoustic and non-acoustic sensors, transducers, and arrays
- Sensor array processing algorithms and hardware
- Underwater acoustic communications systems
- High energy density power sources
- Develop and deliver executive‑level briefings and technical documentation for Navy leadership, sponsors, and Congressional stakeholders.
- Support planning and execution of large‑scale meetings, workshops, and program reviews involving government, academia, and industry participants.
- Provide programmatic support aligned with Navy S&T acquisition processes and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment between research objectives and operational capabilities.
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance at time of proposal submission.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting and managing S&T efforts related to ASW and MIW technologies across multiple TRLs and program elements (6.2, 6.3, 6.4).
- Experience requirement may be reduced to eight (8) years with current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Completion of:
- DAWIA Science and Technology Manager (S&T M) Level I certification, or
- Foundational training in Engineering and Technical Management.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Navy operations and S&T acquisition program execution
- Development and execution of test plans for ASW and MIW technologies
- Drafting high‑level technical and programmatic briefings and responses
- Supporting large‑scale technical meetings and program reviews
- Master of Science (MS) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current PMP certification.
- Advanced DAWIA certifications, including:
- S&T M Levels II or III
- Engineering and Technical Management (Practitioner or Advanced levels)
- Business Financial Management (Levels I, II, or III)
Location: ONR Headquarters, Arlington, VA
