Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end release management activities across multiple ARTs supporting People Soft HCM and related enterprise systems, including release planning, coordination, scheduling, execution, and post-release follow-through.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated release calendar, release milestones, deployment windows, and dependency trackers across application, infrastructure, database, security, testing, and support teams.
  • Coordinate release scope, readiness, and sequencing for enhancements, fixes, tax updates, People Tools changes, interfaces, batch processes, security changes, and production support items moving across environments.
  • Facilitate release governance activities including release planning meetings, readiness reviews, change control coordination, go/no-go assessments, cutover planning, rollback planning, and stakeholder communications.
  • Work closely with product owners, scrum masters, release train engineers, developers, testers, infrastructure teams, and client stakeholders to identify dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure release commitments are realistic and traceable.

  • Ensure environment readiness and deployment discipline across development, test, staging, and production, including coordination of code migrations, configuration changes, data moves, approvals, and validation activities.
  • Develop and maintain release runbooks, checklists, status reporting, release notes, lessons learned, and operational handoff materials to improve repeatability, auditability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in release management, deployment management, or environment coordination for enterprise applications; experience supporting People Soft HCM or similar ERP platforms preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience coordinating complex releases across multiple teams or ARTs, including release planning, dependency management, cutover execution, change control, production readiness, and post‑release stabilization.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing cycles, migration practices, configuration management, and release governance; experience with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar work tracking and reporting tools preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one; experience supporting federal or other highly regulated environments preferred.
Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting SAFe or other scaled agile delivery models, including coordination across multiple ARTs, synchronized planning cadences, release trains, and cross‑team dependency management.
  • Knowledge of release runbooks, deployment checklists, go/no‑go criteria, rollback planning, change management, incident management, and production support practices that reduce release risk and improve stability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, client leadership, and operations personnel, including presentation of release status, readiness, risks, and recommendations.
