Position Summary
Black Star is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) providing engineering, information technology, program management, and business support services to federal government clients. We are seeking an experienced Senior IT, ERP & Financial Systems Manager to support federal modernization initiatives involving financial management systems, ERP platforms, enterprise IT systems, business process improvement, payroll systems, and technology transformation efforts.
Responsibilities- Lead ERP, financial systems, and business process modernization initiatives
- Support implementation, enhancement, and optimization of enterprise business systems
- Analyze business and technical requirements and develop practical solutions
- Support payroll, invoicing, procurement, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
- Lead user acceptance testing, system validation, and deployment activities
- Develop documentation, SOPs, training materials, and process guides
- Coordinate with government stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
- Support enterprise IT modernization and systems integration efforts
- Provide project planning, risk management, and status reporting
- Support cloud-based and on-premises business system environments
- Assist with change management and organizational adoption activities
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience supporting ERP, enterprise business systems, or financial management systems
- Experience leading ERP implementation, migration, modernization, or integration projects
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments and business applications
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience developing business process documentation and training materials
- Ability to work primarily on-site in Arlington, Virginia
