Responsibilities
As a Scrum Master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced Scrum Master like you to create solutions that will advance our development teams and the critical missions they support.
On our team, you’ll coach a development team to their highest performance level while ensuring the Scrum project is successfully progressed. You’ll ensure Scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders.
Using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello, you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish sprint planning, backlog management, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
In this role, you’ll directly impact defense missions by organizing and executing the Agile process for a software development or engineering team. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in Agile Scrum processes, IT project management, and software development while successfully delivering project solutions that improve national security missions.

Qualifications- 3+ years of experience serving as an Agile planner and Scrum Master on a software development or engineering team
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, and other Agile tools
- Knowledge of software development and development life cycles
- Ability to independently stand up and manage an Agile process for a development team, executing sprint planning, backlog management, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives using Agile tools
- Ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders to communicate complex technical concepts in non-technical terms, communicate challenges and risks, and make progress
- Agile Scrum Master or SAFe Certification
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with defense organizations, including the U.S. Air Force
- Experience leading small teams of people
- Knowledge of Agile product management
- Possession of strong interpersonal skills
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree
- Agile Project Management Certification
