Job Description & How to Apply Below

BCMC is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide rapid deployment and management of secure cloud-based engagement kits for cyber incident response and threat hunting operations. As part of the Engagement Support Services (ESS) contract, this program enables analysts to quickly access the tools and environments they need to investigate cyber threats affecting federal agencies, state and local governments, and critical infrastructure.

Working on this team means directly supporting the nation's cybersecurity defenders by ensuring they have reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure available within hours of a cyber incident—helping protect America's digital infrastructure when it matters most.

Dev Ops Engineers will automate, optimize, and enhance the deployment and management of Bespin cloud engagement kits. These positions focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, maintaining source control repositories, and implementing infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure consistent, scalable, and stable deployments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated engagement kit deployment
  • Manage source control and code repositories for infrastructure configurations
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources
  • Enhance kit capabilities through automation and optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with architects and administrators to streamline deployment processes
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions
  • Support troubleshooting and performance optimization during active operations
  • Maintain version control and change management processes
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual effort
  • Ensure consistency and repeatability across engagement kit deployments
  • Participate in security hardening and compliance automation efforts
Required Skills
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
  • 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops, automation, or software engineering roles
  • Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible)
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, etc.)
  • Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power Shell)
  • Knowledge of Git and version control best practices
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and APIs
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
Desired Skills
  • Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS)
  • Knowledge of security automation and compliance-as-code
  • Experience supporting operational or mission-critical environments
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Background in software development or systems engineering
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
