The Opportunity
Cyber threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to the Army. In all of this “cyber noise,” how can they understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you, an information security risk specialist who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action. As an information security risk specialist on our team, you’ll use your experience to define future system concepts and system enhancements as well as research and apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, test, or evaluate systems.
You'll also develop architecture in accordance with relevant architecture frameworks such as DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), NATO Architecture Framework (NAF), and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF). You'll leverage and implement industry-recognized principles and best practices, such as International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), to enable the realization, impact, and success of complex systems. Then, you’ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.
You’ll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure the Army enterprise network.
