Cyber Mission Specialist

As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with tracking cyber incidents and impacting our nation’s defense.

In this role, you will help understand cyberspace capabilities, evaluate potential weaknesses and the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to our nation’s security. You will use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators, senior leadership or commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for our client.

Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment
• Experience collecting, organizing, and reporting cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
• Experience in compiling, documenting, and maintaining records of security incidents and vulnerabilities for decision-makers
• Ability to deliver timely visibility and comprehensive reporting of security risks, incidents, and vulnerabilities to senior leaders
• Ability to provide clear, actionable information that supports informed decision-making and enhances the organization’s overall security posture
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with DoD clients
• Experience in the military
• Possession of strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a cyber-related field
• CISSP certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits. Salary for this position ranges from $62,000 to $141,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
