Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Overview
We’re seeking a Principal Strategy and Biz Ops leader to serve as the operational backbone and strategic thought partner for the WFS Products and Analytics organization. You'll own the mechanisms that enable a 100+ person, globally distributed team to execute with clarity, measure impact with precision, and scale without creating bottlenecks.
This role operates at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution—translating the Director’s strategic intent into executable plans, designing mechanisms that prevent systemic failures, and ensuring organizational effectiveness across all functions.
Responsibilities- Manage stakeholder alignment for cross‑org initiatives, including Tiger Teams and process changes.
- Establish and maintain the team operating cadence—weekly syncs, monthly reviews, and quarterly planning—and drive adoption of team tenets and operating model across 100+ employees.
- Partner with the Director on org design and headcount planning; coordinate hiring for critical roles (backfills, new positions).
- Build a framework‑based prioritization model balancing Must‑Win goals, strategic bets, and operational excellence; manage cross‑functional dependency across three sub‑teams (FER, Product, GenAI Program) and external partners (ITA, HVH, WS‑TT); identify critical path blockers 2–3 quarters ahead; and elevate conflicts to the Director with data‑driven trade‑off recommendations.
- Prepare monthly M materials for the Director (goals, risks, decisions needed); draft executive communications (memos, decision documents, escalations); and own "anticipated questions" preparation for Director/VP reviews.
- 7+ years of experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.
- 7+ years of program or project management experience.
- 7+ years of managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
- Experience delivering cross‑functional projects.
- Experience in technical program management.
- Experience in corporate finance, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
