Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Solutions Architect to help accelerate our growing Global Defense Partners business.

As a Sr. Solutions Architect within AWS, you will help shape and deliver on a strategy to advance our customer’s mission through the use of AWS services (e.g. Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, HPC, Amazon Bedrock, etc.) directly with our ecosystem of systems integrators, consulting and technology partners. You will work as part of a cross‑functional team supporting federal missions, building PoCs and providing technical design and leadership to the Federal Government markets.

• Own the technical engagement and strategy with customers.
• Build proof of concepts (PoCs) to solve customer problems.
• Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and the customer mission space.

• US Citizen with active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or internet industries.

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Experience with AI/ML, HPC, digital engineering, advanced manufacturing, or data engineering workloads on AWS.
• Familiarity with defense compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, CMMC, DoD SRG, ITAR).

Base salary range: $ – $ USD annually. Compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
