Technical Support Specialist
Join a mission‑driven team supporting the Army by delivering reliable, secure, and high‑quality IT services that directly impact readiness and daily operations. In this role, you’ll be a frontline technical resource for warfighters, helping ensure that the technology they rely on is available when and where it’s needed. You will work across multiple systems and support environments, providing hands‑on troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user assistance while collaborating with cybersecurity, network, and engineering partners to keep systems compliant and mission‑ready.
Responsibilities- Provide Tier I or II IT support across enterprise or DoW environments.
- Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and common enterprise applications.
- Administer Active Directory user and group accounts.
- Maintain ticketing workflows and document actions for audit and compliance.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
- Resolve hardware and software issues with minimal oversight.
- Assist with system lifecycle upgrades, imaging, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and mission partners.
- Provide clear and customer‑focused communication in fast‑paced environments.
- 2+ years of experience providing Tier I or II IT support in an enterprise or DoW environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, enterprise applications, and Active Directory.
- Experience managing ticketing systems and documenting actions.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues independently.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
- Experience supporting Army enterprise network environments.
- Familiarity with NIPR or SIPR systems and ticketing platforms such as Service Now or Remedy.
- Experience with imaging, patching, and vulnerability remediation workflows.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber, or Engineering.
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or GSEC (preferred).
Projected salary range: $53,000.00 to $ annualized USD. Compensation influenced by location, experience, and contract requirements.
