Zero Trust Engineer
We are seeking a Zero Trust Engineer to develop and lead advanced security architecture and offensive cyber operations for our national security missions.
Responsibilities- Probe targets using networking analysis tools and select attack vectors to match mission intent.
- Lead a team to design, implement, and maintain Zero Trust security architecture across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.
- Deploy and manage Zero Trust solutions such as identity and access management, multi‑factor authentication, and endpoint security.
- Integrate Zero Trust principles into enterprise infrastructure and provide guidance to a growing team.
- Create and author technical documentation, white papers, and blogs on cybersecurity topics.
- 7+ years of experience in IT operations or cybersecurity.
- People leadership: 7+ years leading technical solution development for large, complex organizations.
- Experience architecting Zero Trust solutions and roadmaps aligned with NIST 800‑207, OMB mandates, and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture.
- Proven record of leading product‑selection initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of the Zero Trust technology ecosystem (ZTNA, SSE, SASE, IDP, IDS, DLP, SWG, EDR, MFA, data‑tagging).
- Understanding of network technologies such as SD‑WAN, MPLS, satellite, and their role in Zero Trust delivery.
- Top Secret security clearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Information‑security certifications such as CEH, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, CompTIA Security+ (additional DoD 8570 IASAE LevelIII certifications are desirable).
- Background in cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership.
- Experience working in ARNG, DA, or DoD environments.
- Experience designing and implementing security tools for large federal or commercial organizations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Salary range: $112,800–$257,000 (annualized). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
