Machine Learning Engineer, WWPS Pro Serve, Data & Machine Learning (DML)

The AWS Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to design, evangelize, implement, and scale AI/ML solutions for customers, applying generative AI to solve real‑world problems.

• Design and implement complex, scalable, secure AI/ML solutions on AWS tailored to customer needs.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models and generative AI applications that solve business problems, conduct experiments, and optimize performance at scale.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high‑value AI/ML use cases, gather requirements, and propose strategies.
• Provide technical guidance on responsible, cost‑efficient AI/ML practices and troubleshoot throughout project delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on AI/ML advancements and emerging technologies.
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, reusable artifacts, and prototype new technologies.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling, data‑analysis tools, and performance tuning.
• Experience in professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
• Active US Government security clearance of TS/SCI.

• Master's degree or above in STEM.
• Experience on multi‑team, cross‑disciplinary projects.
• Experience applying quantitative analysis to solve business problems.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and application to reasoning and problem‑solving.
• Experience defining and creating benchmarks for GenAI model performance.
• Experience with Python, SQL/No
  
  SQL, and API development for AI/ML solutions.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and generative AI frameworks.
