AI/ML Specialist Solutions Architect, National Security Specialists Solutions Architecture Team

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Generative AI Learning Solutions Architect to support national security customers. The role focuses on designing generative AI solutions that leverage AWS services to automate tasks and reduce costs for government customers.

• Act as the subject‑matter expert on generative AI solutions, providing guidance to other solutions architects and customers.
• Design, architect, and implement scalable generative AI platforms using AWS services.
• Develop white papers, reference implementations, blogs, and presentations to enable customers and partners to adopt AWS AI solutions.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader solutions architect population.
• Collaborate with senior engineers at customers, partners, and AWS service teams to influence roadmaps and drive innovation.
• Assist customers with software selection and integration of AWS AI solutions into their architectures.

• 8+ years in technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 5+ years of experience with AI/ML technologies—training, inference, or generative AI.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with Polygraph. Must opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency served.
• Deep technical knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI.
• Strong background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related fields.
• Experience building enterprise‑grade AI solutions with large‑scale deployments.
• Proficiency in Python data science environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage customers at all levels, from executives to developers.

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience engaging end‑user or developer communities.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or an equivalent field.
• Prior experience with AWS services is desired but not required.

The base salary range for this position is USD 153,600 – 207,800 annually.
