Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USA Today Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a highly technical People Soft Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide deep functional and technical expertise in People Soft HCM and related modules to support Federal Government HR modernization programs. This role involves working across on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, supporting implementation, optimization, and ongoing system improvements.
The successful candidate will bring extensive People Soft implementation experience, along with a strong understanding of federal HR and payroll processes. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to both technical and functional teams, helping ensure the successful delivery and operation of enterprise People Soft solutions.
As a valued member of the SFI team, you will play a critical role in delivering mission‑critical capabilities to our Federal Government customers.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for People Soft HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and related modules.
- Support People Soft system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, including requirements analysis, configuration, and testing.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve complex People Soft configuration and integration issues.
- Develop and deliver People Soft training programs and user documentation.
- Analyze People Soft issues and defects and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
- Support People Soft data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Provide expert guidance on People Soft best practices and federal HR regulatory compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of People Soft implementation experience, including 5+ years serving as a People Soft SME.
- Demonstrated expertise in People Soft modules (HCM, Financials), People Tools, integrations, customizations, and People Soft Update Manager (PUM) processes.
- Strong understanding of People Soft architecture, configuration, and system optimization.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience with Cross-Domain Enterprise Solutions (CDES) and Oracle RDBMS 19c.
- Experience with People Soft Financials Management Software, People Soft Global Payroll, and People Soft CRM (case management).
- Knowledge of Oracle APEX is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops tools such as CAST, Palo Alto, PHIRE, and Stonebranch.
- Experience with automated testing tools, including People Soft Test Framework (PTF) and Tricentis.
- Experience using Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for backlog management, roadmaps, and performance metrics.
- Experience supporting de-customization efforts within People Soft applications.
- Oracle People Soft HCM or Financials functional certification preferred.
- Experience supporting People Soft implementations within Department of Defense (DoD).
- Familiarity with People Soft Integration Broker and Application Engine.
- Experience with People Soft upgrades, including People Tools and HCM upgrades.
- Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one. - Work Environment:
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote as required by the contract. - This is a full-time, W2 position.
