Intelligence Analyst, Agentic AI Integration

Job Summary

Iron EagleX (IEX), a subsidiary of General Dynamics Information Technology, is seeking an Intelligence Analyst for Agentic AI Integration based in Crystal City, VA. The role focuses on integrating AI-enabled tools into intelligence analysis workflows to accelerate insight generation while ensuring the outputs are validated, explainable, and aligned with established intelligence tradecraft standards.

• Integrate AI capabilities into analysis workflows to improve research, data discovery, pattern recognition, and reporting.
• Assist analysts in the responsible use of AI, including validation of outputs, source evaluation, confidence assessment, and analytic rigor.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and developers to identify analytic pain points and design practical AI-assisted solutions.
• Evaluate and test AI tools, prompts, workflows, and automation techniques for intelligence use cases.
• Support the development of repeatable analytic methodologies that combine subject‑matter expertise with AI-generated insights.
• Translate mission requirements into use cases for machine learning, NLP, entity extraction, knowledge management, link analysis, and data enrichment.
• Develop guidance, SOPs, and best practices for AI-assisted analytic workflows.
• Apply AI-enabled techniques to large volumes of structured and unstructured data for analytic production.
• Work with technical teams to refine tools and ensure capabilities meet operational requirements.

• 8+ years of experience in all‑source and multi‑discipline intelligence analysis.
• Strong understanding of intelligence tradecraft, analytic standards, sourcing, confidence levels, and structured analytic techniques.
• Proficiency in using Python for workflow automation (Jupyter notebooks, Streamlit, or similar).
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, automation, data analytics, and NLP concepts.
• Ability to evaluate AI‑generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, bias, and mission applicability.
• Experience working with large datasets, analytic platforms, knowledge repositories, or intelligence databases.
• Excellent writing, briefing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into practical guidance for non‑technical analytic users.

• Experience applying generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), semantic search, or automated data extraction to analytic workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, graph/link‑analysis tools, or other analytic platforms.
• Experience with model evaluation and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.
• Familiarity with API integration and data retrieval from services.
• Experience developing training material, playbooks, SOPs, or adoption plans for new analytic tools.

• Current TS/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Role is onsite in Crystal City, VA; requires 60‑90 days of travel to CONUS sites each year.
• Only U.S. citizens eligible.

$136,000 – $184,000 (based on experience, location, and contractual requirements).
