Intragovernmental Manager
Location:
Arlington, VA (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Clearance Required:
Secret Clearance Pay Range: $40-60/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Intragovernmental Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA, in a hybrid capacity. This role is integral in supporting the development, implementation, and performance of intragovernmental reconciliations between the Army and its trading partners. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting foundation, experience in federal financial management, and expertise in reconciling and analyzing transactional data across large ERP systems.
You will also contribute to automating manual processes, improving efficiency in intragovernmental reconciliation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development, implementation, and performance of intragovernmental reconciliations of buyer/seller data with the Army's trading partners.
Perform validation of intragovernmental trading partner reconciliations by utilizing transactional data from Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., GFEBS) and advanced analytics platforms such as Advana.
Coordinate with Army trading partners to identify and resolve variances in reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and alignment between trading partner data.
Conduct detailed analyses to assess the quality and accuracy of trading partner data within the Army's ERP systems, identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement.
Assist the Army in automating manual processes related to intragovernmental reconciliations, enhancing efficiency and reducing errors in the reconciliation process.
Required
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in federal financial management, including 2 years of federal accounting experience, with a strong understanding of intragovernmental processes.
Strong accounting foundation, with audit experience being a must to ensure thorough validation and accuracy of financial data.
Familiarity with federal ERP systems like GFEBS and the ability to navigate large datasets for reconciliation purposes. Experience with DoD's big data platform (Advana) is a plus.
Skills:
Ability to conduct in-depth analyses of transactional data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues effectively.
Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with Army trading partners and various stakeholders to resolve reconciliation variances.
Experience with process automation and streamlining manual workflows to enhance the efficiency of intragovernmental reconciliations.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field, OR relevant certifications such as CPA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, or CDFM.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with federal financial management, including at least 2 years of federal accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in intragovernmental reconciliations and federal ERP systems.
- Secret Clearance required.

- Hybrid position: 2 days onsite in Arlington, VA, and 3 days remote.
