Capture Manager

Reston, VA (REMOTE)

$160,000/yr - $170,000/yr + benefits

MUST:
Proposal Writer / Capture Manager
5+ years of professional federal capture and proposal development experience
3+ years of experience supporting DOJ, Client, and/or DOC proposals
3+ years SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and SAM.gov
Federal capture management working corporate
Proposal writing and development
FAR/DFARS knowledge
Federal acquisition lifecycle / Technical proposal writing
Compliance matrix development
Ability to manage multiple deadlines / Ability to lead cross-functional teams
APMP Certification (Preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Policy, Information Technology, or a related field

DUTIES:
Lead capture strategy for DOJ, Client, and DOC opportunities
Develop capture plans, win themes, customer engagement strategies, and competitive assessments
Write technical, management, staffing, and past performance proposal volumes
Ensure proposal compliance with RFP, RFI, SOW, and PWS requirements
Develop compliance matrices, storyboards, proposal outlines, and templates
Coordinate color team reviews, SME input, graphics, resumes, and proposal schedules
Translate technical IT, cybersecurity, cloud, AI/ML, and mission support solutions into compelling proposal content
Manage proposal submissions, formatting requirements, and agency portals
Monitor procurement forecasts, contract vehicles, and acquisition strategies
Support pipeline development, solutioning sessions, and Gate 0–4 reviews
Build and maintain relationships with government customers, teaming partners, and prime contractors
