Koniag IT Services LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Automation Specialist-Mid with a Top-Secret security clearance to support our government customer at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain automated workflows and process solutions
- Support automation initiatives using workflow automation platforms, scripting tools, and enterprise technologies
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Monitor automated systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuity of operations
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and automated notifications to improve operational visibility
- Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides
- Ensure automation solutions comply with organizational policies, cybersecurity requirements, and data governance standards
- Assist with system integrations and data synchronization across enterprise platforms
- Recommend process improvements and emerging technologies to USW(R&E) CDAO leadership
- 3+ years related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Gather and develop requirements for assigned projects based on stakeholder input.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
- Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills – including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways.
- Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to brief senior executives with little notice.
- Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
- Must be a US Citizen, hold a current DoD Top Secret Clearance
