Senior Data Scientist
Location:
Arlington, VA
The Senior Data Scientist will build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics at Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS).
Responsibilities- Identify emerging data governance, data and system interoperability, and data ecosystem challenges and recommend solutions.
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing products.
- Communicate effectively through listening, documentation, and presentations, especially using compelling visualization tools to share analysis and interpretation of data.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master of Science and at least 10 years of experience.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
- Successfully pass background and drug screening.
- Experience in Amazon Web Services.
- Mastery of at least one of the following data programming languages or statistical tools – Python, SQL, R, SAS, JavaScript (full‑stack) – and significant experience with at least one additional language or tool.
- Competitive salary range: USD $159,240 – $220,000 per year.
