Senior Solutions Architect, Retail, Restaurant, Consumer Packaging - Greenfield

We are hiring an Enterprise Solutions Architect to partner with customers, AWS Sales and other teams to design secure, reliable, and cost‑effective cloud‑native architectures and help drive revenue across a broad set of customers.

• Own the technical engagement and success around specific implementation projects.
• Work cross‑organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad knowledge of application architecture on AWS.
• Represent AWS within customer environments and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade‑offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
• Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and connect technology with measurable business value.

• 8+ years of experience in a specific technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including out of state.

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience architecting or operating solutions built on AWS.
• Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive‑level stakeholders or clients.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
