Position: AWS Cloud Engineer with Security Clearance
Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Location:

Arlington, VA – 2x a week
Clearance:
Secret cleared Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure for an AWS-based data and API platform. Assist in deploying and managing cloud resources. Responsibilities
Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services
Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Monitor, cloud systems to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.
Help implement security measures and compliance controls.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate and optimize cloud solutions.
Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for cloud deployments Skills
Experience in cloud engineering, preferably AWS.

Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Git Lab
Understanding of networking concepts like VPN, VPCs, DNS, and load balancing
Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $160,000 to $180,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs.
