Senior Solutions Architect, AWS WWPS Partners SA.

Location:

Washington, DC. AWS is looking for a cleared Solutions Architect to support Global Systems Integrator partners and shape opportunities for government customers. This role is located in DC. You will lead technical design, architecture, and thought leadership on a world class sales and business development team; capture and share best-practice knowledge with the AWS solution architect community; and collaborate with and educate others across enterprise architecture.

Your responsibilities include owning the technical engagement and success around specific implementation projects; defining implementation architectures; helping partners respond to RFPs; developing deep expertise in AWS technologies; broad knowledge of how applications and services are constructed on the AWS platform; and serving as a subject matter expert on security related to customer applications and services.

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and assist partners in responding to RFPs.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how on how applications/services are built on the AWS platform.
• Act as a subject matter expert on security for customer applications and services.
• Collaborate with the AWS solution architect community to share best practices and knowledge.
• Engage with Global Systems Integrator partners and government customers to shape opportunities and strategy.

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or internet industries.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
• Current, active US Government Top Secret security clearance or above.

• Experience working with end user or developer communities.
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.

The base salary range is listed below. Compensation includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final pay is based on experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription), life insurance, EAP, mental health support, FSA, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
