The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to help customers design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet both technical requirements and business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through the cloud journey, ensuring best‑practice architecture, optimizing performance, and managing risk throughout project delivery.
Key job responsibilities- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working through the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
- Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects
- 5+ years of external or internal customer‑facing, complex and large‑scale project management experience
- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
- Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, No
SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) - Experience with automation or scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, or Shell
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions such as AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Database Migration Service, and/or AWS Data Sync
