OverviewThe Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customer technical requirements and business objectives. In this role you will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of external or internal customer‑facing, complex and large‑scale project management experience.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- Experience with databases (SQL, No
SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis). - Experience with automation or scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions such as MGN, DMS, and/or Data Sync.
Base salary ranges for this position are: USA, CA, San Francisco – $176,600–239,000 USD annually; USA, CO, Denver – $153,600–207,800 USD annually; USA, VA, Arlington – $153,600–207,800 USD annually; USA, WA, Seattle – $153,600–207,800 USD annually.
