Delivery Consultant – AWS Professional Services
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will provide technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle and lead the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of work in the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Experience designing, planning, and implementing applications and/or database migrations to the cloud.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments.
- Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation).
- Experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, Python).
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Database Migration Service, and/or AWS Data Sync.
Base salary range:
- USA, CO, Denver: $131,300 – $177,600 annually
- USA, MO, St. Louis: $131,300 – $177,600 annually
- USA, VA, Arlington: $131,300 – $177,600 annually
- USA, VA, Herndon: $131,300 – $177,600 annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $131,300 – $177,600 annually
Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
