Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Storage Solutions Architect Manager to lead a team of storage solution architects, mentor and hire staff, drive technical go‑to‑market initiatives, surface customer insights, and develop metrics to track team success.

• Partner with business development and service stakeholders to formulate and execute a sales strategy that exceeds adoption and revenue objectives.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop Solutions Architects.
• Coach architects to conduct effective one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions, transferring deep technical skills to customers.
• Step into a Solutions Architect role when required to support the customer base.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, datasheets, and other high‑value customer‑facing guidance.
• Travel to key AWS events and collaborate with services, field solutions architecture, sales, marketing, business development, and professional services teams.
• Lead the team in technical capability, credibility, and shaping customer‑focused solutions.

• 5+ years of management experience of technical, enterprise customer‑facing resources.
• 5+ years of infrastructure, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions on any cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.).

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

Competitive base salary plus sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Current salary ranges (USD) – Boston: 201,000–272,000 annually;
Nashville: 191,000–258,400;
Arlington: 201,000–272,000;
Seattle: 201,000–272,000.
