Senior Solutions Architect, WWPS ISV; AWS

Amazon Web Services is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate our growing ISV Partner business as part of the World‑Wide Public‑Sector practice. The role focuses on ISV partners in the ERP and HCM space and involves owning technical engagements, defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, and serving as a subject matter expert on AWS security.

• Design and create cloud computing architectures for customers.
• Lead complex, multi‑service architecture designs and drive end‑to‑end technical strategy for public‑sector customers.
• Develop and deliver thought leadership content (blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures) specific to Databricks/Data & AI on AWS.
• Mentor junior Solutions Architects and contribute reusable artifacts and best practices.
• Identify and drive product feature requests (PFRs) based on customer feedback to influence AWS service roadmap.
• Travel up to 30% as required.

USA, VA, Arlington - $ - $ USD annually. Base salary range is listed above; your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or internet industries.
• 3+ years working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, databases, and storage.
• Experience deploying GenAI solutions.

• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience leading or developing high‑quality, enterprise‑scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle.
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
• Databricks and Data experience preferred.
