Data Scientist, Machine Learning/ ML Engineer, Data Analyst
Responsibilities
As a data scientist, you will unlock insights from complex data sets to solve global challenges across private and public sectors—including fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence. You will work closely with clients to understand their questions, analyze data‑rich environments, develop algorithms and systems, and translate disparate data points into actionable answers.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or mining
- 3+ years of experience with statistical and general‑purpose programming languages for data analysis
- Experience working with Mavin Smart Systems
- Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
- Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualizations of targeted data sources
- Knowledge of machine learning, AI, or natural language processing (NLP)
- Knowledge of text mining or machine learning techniques
- Ability to develop dashboards
- Top Secret clearance (required)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with R, Python, or SQL/No
SQL for algorithm development - Experience with distributed data or computing tools (Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL)
- Experience with machine learning, AI, or NLP
- Experience with visualization packages (Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2)
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Master’s degree
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Top Secret clearance is required.
Salary range: $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by location, education, skills, and experience. The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
