Job Description
The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain the core client data infrastructure and pipelines necessary to ingest, process, store, and transform data for various consumers. This person will develop and operate automated, end-to-end data pipelines, create and maintain data models and schemas, and contribute to the overall scalability, reliability, and security of the data platform. The engineer will implement data processing frameworks and technologies, design and optimize data storage solutions, and develop data transformation logic to support analytics requirements.
This role will implement data quality checks and validation procedures, establish data lineage tracking mechanisms, and troubleshoot data pipeline issues. The engineer will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements, work with security teams to implement data protection measures, and stay current with data engineering technologies and best practices. This position will document data architecture and pipelines, participate in data governance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering processes.
Have
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an additional 4 years of experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 8 years of experience in data engineering, data pipeline design, or management
- Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position
Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is $106,300—$221,100 USD.
