Senior Data Architect

Job Description

Responsible for designing and governing the entire data ecosystem, establishing the enterprise data model, defining standards for data storage (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, databases), and designing the architecture for data ingestion, processing pipelines (ETL/ELT) and data access. Works closely with GRC and security teams to embed data governance, data quality and data protection policies from the outset. The primary goal is to ensure data is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR), enabling advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale.

• Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of additional experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
• 8 years of experience designing enterprise data architectures and models.

• Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, the District of Columbia and the city of Cleveland is: $106,300 – $221,100 USD.
