Sr. Delivery Consultant - AI​/ML, WWPS ProServe

Role Overview

This position requires a US Citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance. AWS Professional Services (Pro Serve) seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to design, evangelize, implement, and scale AI/ML solutions for customers, leveraging generative AI algorithms to solve real‑world problems with significant impact.

As part of the AWS Professional Services organization, you will architect complex, scalable, and secure machine‑learning solutions tailored to each customer’s needs, help customers identify high‑value use cases, develop proof‑of‑concepts, and provide deep expertise throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with stakeholders, assess data infrastructure, run experiments, research new algorithms, and optimize risk, profitability, and customer experience. You will also act as a trusted advisor on AI advances and mentor teammates.

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AI/ML solutions on AWS tailored to customer needs, including selecting and fine‑tuning appropriate models for specific use cases
• Develop and deploy machine learning models and generative AI applications that solve real‑world business problems, conduct experiments and optimize for performance at scale
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high‑value AI/ML use cases, gather requirements, and propose effective strategies for implementing machine learning and generative AI solutions
• Provide technical guidance on applying AI, machine learning, and generative AI responsibly and cost‑efficiently, troubleshoot throughout project delivery, and ensure adherence to best practices
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on the latest advancements in AI/ML, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches to leveraging diverse data sources for maximum business impact
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, creating reusable AI/ML artifacts, and working with team members to prototype new technologies and evaluate technical feasibility

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• 5+ years of machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and analytics techniques experience
• Experience in professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
• Experience in defining and creating benchmarks for assessing GenAI model performance
• Experience translating complex technical solutions and data‑driven insights into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences, including both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments
• Experience in external or internal customer‑facing, complex and large‑scale project management

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
