The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. This role combines technical expertise with project leadership to implement AWS solutions, bridging business requirements with technical solutions, applying AWS frameworks, ensuring alignment with customer outcomes, managing risks, and delivering successful projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
- Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
- Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
- Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
- Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards.
- Experience leading engagements using industry standard program management techniques including Agile at scale delivery frameworks and project management toolsets.
- 8+ years of cloud computing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coordinating and leading large-scale Digital or Global IT Transformation initiatives.
- Cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect - Associate.
- Experience coordinating between technical teams, peers and business stakeholders.
- AWS experience preferred.
The base salary range for this position is $ – $ USD annually in New York (NY) and $ – $ USD annually in Arlington (VA). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
