Job Overview
We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to join our security team focusing on ease of use and delighting customers across Amazon. This team invents, scales, and operates foundational security services used to protect Amazon’s internal systems, networks, and the US intelligence community.
Key Responsibilities- Build, deploy, and maintain security services that support the US intelligence community.
- Work backwards from the customer to develop features that meet the needs of end users.
You will work across the company on always‑on services, participate in on‑call rotations every few months, and collaborate with teams to ship releases quickly using automated testing.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+, CND, Network+, or Security+.
- 1+ years of Linux system administration experience.
- 1+ years of technical troubleshooting/support experience.
- 1+ years of networking experience.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale.
- Experience with service‑oriented architecture and web services.
- Experience with systems administration on Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems.
