This is for proposed work, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon award. Essential Functions
* Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements from government stakeholders.
* Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories for delivery teams.
* Support systems analysis across data warehouse, reporting, application, and analytics work streams.
* Facilitate requirements sessions and maintain requirements traceability.
* Coordinate with developers, data engineers, and analysts to ensure requirements are met throughout the delivery lifecycle.
* Support user acceptance testing and validate delivered capabilities against documented requirements.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming and sprint planning. Competencies
* 5+ years of experience in requirements analysis, systems analysis, or business analysis on IT programs.
* Experience documenting requirements and technical specifications in an Agile development environment.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
* Experience working with data management, reporting, or application development teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or comparable application lifecycle management tools.
* Experience supporting federal data or analytics programs. Supervisory Responsibility None for this position Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
* Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
* Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
* Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
* Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with flexible hours based on mission requirements.
Travel No travel is expected for this position. Education Bachelor's degree in data science or a related quantitative field.
