Operational Research and Systems Analyst

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an Operational Research and Systems Analyst who will perform Technical Analysis and assist in the collection and dissemination of information to U.S. and coalition forces, on a need-to-know basis, concerning target device TTPs, technology, and unmanned threat platforms such as Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Unmanned Maritime Systems (UMS) (above and below surface). This position will support JIATF-401 at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA with potential temporary travel or deployment as customer needs dictate.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all-source analysis and assist in the collection and dissemination of information to U.S. and coalition forces, on a need-to-know basis, concerning target device TTPs, technology, and safe handling procedures.
  • Utilize various intelligence disciplines (e.g. TECHINT, SIGINT/CYBER, HUMINT, MASINT, etc.) from all levels of classified information.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS (to include possible conflict areas) on short notice in order to disseminate relevant threat information as directed by customer requests.
  • Provide high-level subject matter proficiency and advanced technical knowledge of highly specialized applications and technology support to DEVCOM C5

    ISR Center for Counter-Improvised Threat devices, equipment, software, and training, this includes all manners of improvised threats from Counter UAS to Counter UMS.
  • Works under general supervision with some degree of independence.
  • Possesses intermediate technical skills and is knowledgeable and experienced in most aspects of a program or functional area.
  • Provides Journeyman level expertise and operational analysis for Counter-Unmanned Systems (C-UxS) and Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) operations across one or more war fighting domains.
  • Analyzes service-specific requirements, operational concepts, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for C-UxS/C-sUAS employment.
  • Domain specializations include but are not limited to:
    Maritime operations (Navy Afloat and Army Watercraft), Fixed Site/Point and Base Defense operations (Air Force and Navy Ashore), and Ground operations (Dismounted and Mobile, Army and Marines).
  • Conducts operational analysis of C-sUAS threats, vulnerabilities, and capability gaps within the assigned domain.
  • Develops and recommends domain-specific C-UxS solutions, integration strategies, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinates with service component representatives, Joint staff, and interagency partners to ensure C-UxS capabilities meet domain-specific operational requirements.
  • Supports test events, training exercises, and vulnerability assessments with domain expertise.
  • Prepares analytical reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current and Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Requires Military Intelligence MOS background and have completed formal military intelligence training/school.
  • BA/BS and 4+ years of experience; AA/AS with 8+ years; HS/GED with 10+ years of recent specialized experience.
  • Demonstrate experience and understanding in HUMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, FISINT, and IMINT intelligence disciplines and the ability to fuse disparate data into completed reports.
  • Understanding of threat device engineering and function.
  • UAS and Counter UAS platforms and hands on instruction.
  • Experience and the Ability to integrate UAS and C-UAS TTPs into Operational and Intelligence Planning.
  • Demonstrate understanding of ISR Operations Collection Strategy, Planning, and Execution.
  • The ability to identify UAS and UxS.
  • Must demonstrate ability to provide analysis to identify trends on target devices and TTPs.
  • Research unclassified and classified databases for use in written products.
  • Monitor and analyze strategic and operational intelligence information.
  • Research support to analysts who produce Intelligence Community reports and briefings as well as direct support to current operations.
  • Research, author, and coordinate threat assessments to support the Commander and/or leaders in the U.S. civilian intelligence community.
