AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager who will be responsible for leading multiple simultaneous networking programs in a highly cross‑functional environment which includes internal customers, network engineering, network deployment and operations teams, as well as external vendors. You must have a proven track record of project completion that is on time and within budget, be able to establish trust with a variety of stakeholders and customers, manage capital budgets, eliminate non‑value‑add activity and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.

You will be an exceptional communicator, able to discuss technical concepts, identify project implementation issues and work with highly technical teams to remove barriers to project success. At some point in your career you likely occupied a networking engineering position, so that you have the technical depth to visualise how network solutions fit together, know how to deliver safely into production environments, and are able to command the intellectual respect of the engineers you work with.

Experience working with large scale networks and network automation and provisioning systems is a distinct advantage.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.

You will drive organization level process improvement to deliver cross‑functional projects working with network engineering, Infrastructure and internal project management teams, as well as external vendors.

We are ADC Networking Scaling and Deployment (NSD) part of Region Services. The ADC NSD team owns all network capacity scaling, new network layer deployments, OBAAT brick delivery, T1 and T2 data center builds and expansions, data center room builds, and network layer migrations and decoms in launched ADC and Gov Cloud/Sovereign regions, globally.
