Senior Military Acquisition Analyst (Field Artillery/Air Defense Artillery)

Our client, MDB Group, is seeking to fill a Senior Military Acquisition Analyst (Field Artillery/Air Defense Artillery) position for our customer at the Pentagon, DC. MDB Group provides Technical, Operational, Force Development, Financial, and Acquisition Consulting Services to the Department of War.

Position Requirements:

• Shall have doctrinal, foundational-level operational, and technical expertise with Army Air and Missile Defense or Army Fire Support (Field Artillery) units, programs, CONOPS, and capabilities.
• FDG contractors will validate, prioritize, analyze, and assist with ensuring Army force development requirements and modernization plans are achievable for Fires efforts to include Joint Theatre Air and Missile Defense (JTAMD) and Directed Energy, Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD), artillery launchers, missiles, and cannons.
• Requires an interdisciplinary skill set of PPBE, DOD acquisition processes and procedures (DoDI 5000.2) as well as expertise with materiel and/or force structure requirements development and validation (JCIDS). The mix of these skills will vary at echelons of command.
• Force Development experience is obtained by applying force development skills across the domains of DOTMLPF-P in a fiscally constrained environment. Examples of force development experience range from programming materiel and force structure requirements at the highest Army echelons such as HQDA, down to integrating new equipment into units at battalion levels.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis and recommendations in support of validation, prioritization, and approval of future Field Artillery/Air Defense Artillery requirements, including validation of Army JCIDS documents in support of the AROC or JROC process.
• Manage the Army Field Artillery/Air Defense Artillery programming and budgeting process

Minimum Qualifications:

• Manage the programming and budget associated with Field Artillery, Air Defense Artillery, Ballistic Missile Defense, and associated fire support capabilities.
• 4 years of DoD FD-related experience.
• Experience on Pentagon/DOD staff or acquisition assignment preferred.
• 3 years must be HQDA or equivalent level experience (Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force).
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Secret Security clearance;
  Top Secret for BMDS
