The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. Position Overview

We have an immediate need for a C5

Ops Net Technical SETA - Variable Trust Endpoints
to provide onsite support at DARPA in Arlington, VA.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network development, or enterprise systems
  • Experience with secure platforms, security software, and information security systems
  • Experience with decentralized software services and various transport types
  • Knowledge of private key encryption, authentication, access control, and endpoint security
  • Experience with diverse hardware platforms (COTS systems, workstations, servers, mobile, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust, variable-trust/variable-security systems, and continuous integrity
  • Experience with enterprise services and system certification and accreditation
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to work onsite as required
Desired:
  • Master's degree
  • Experience with classified network accreditation and DoD cybersecurity activities
  • Experience with clandestine or covert operations, cyber operations, and SAPs/CAPs
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
Responsibilities

The candidate will support the DARPA Adaptive Capabilities Office in developing next-generation classified networks for enterprise-scale computing and operational functions. Responsibilities include providing technical advice on resilience and survivability, developing secure endpoints, coordinating meetings, assessing technical progress, and preparing reports and briefings. The role requires expertise in network engineering of DoD classified networks, evaluating emerging technologies, and contributing to resilient network development.
