Overview
An employer is looking for a TSSCI Citrix Administrator to sit in Rosslyn, VA. This candidate will be responsible for configuring, administering, and sustaining an enterprise Citrix environment for geographically distributed users, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and Citrix ADC (Net Scaler). This role includes managing core components such as Store Front and Citrix Gateway, troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues, and performing routine maintenance including patching, upgrades, and health checks across Citrix infrastructure and supporting platforms.
The administrator also oversees security and access through Active Directory integration and compliance controls, automates tasks using Power Shell, and maintains thorough documentation while supporting incident and change management processes.
$62/hr to $72/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Qualifications- Active TSSCI and ability to obtain a CI Poly
- Bachelor s degree and 4+ years of overall related experience within IT. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE)
- 2 to 5 years experience with enterprise virtualization architectures and Citrix technologies (e.g., Xen App, Xen Desktop, Store Front, Citrix Gateway/CVAD).
- Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Citrix ADC (Net Scaler).
- Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, SSL/TLS certificates
