The Sr. Project Manager will drive complex federal technology initiatives that shape secure digital experiences for civilian agencies. Will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions using Agile, hybrid, and iterative delivery methods. You serve as the primary link between technical teams and agency leadership, ensuring every project meets strict performance standards and federal requirements.
This position is classified as Hybrid/remote with the ability to report to Arlington, Virginia, and Government-directed mission locations when required.
Position Responsibilities- Manages Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) federal service contracts and performance-based requirements to ensure compliance and budget alignment.
- Leads Stakeholder Engagement across Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or other federal civilian agencies to align expectations and deliverables.
- Coordinates classified and unclassified meetings, workshops, and work products to maintain secure and seamless operations.
- Supervises the administration of Drupal content-management platforms, stakeholder portals, and enterprise collaboration environments.
- Tracks project performance and delivers detailed reporting to mitigate risks and resolve incidents swiftly.
- Drives continuous improvement by applying ITIL, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks to daily operations.
- Applies expert knowledge of Agile, hybrid, and iterative delivery methods.
- Executes comprehensive Risk Management, performance tracking, and executive Reporting.
- Coordinates effective incident management protocols across teams.
- Communicates with fluency; reads, writes, speaks, and understands English at a professional level.
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10 years of directly related professional experience
- At least 4 years managing Federal IT programs.
- This position requires an Active Secret Clearance
- Maintains an active PMP certification.
- Demonstrates progressive experience in program management within federal civilian agencies, specifically with DHS.
- Proves success in managing FFP federal service contracts and performance-based requirements.
- Shows hands-on experience coordinating both classified and unclassified meetings and deliverables.
- Brings practical familiarity with Drupal, content-management platforms, stakeholder portals, and enterprise collaboration environments.
- Experience with ITIL, Scrum, SAFe, or Security+
