AV Project Coordinator - Part Time

Trigyn's direct govt. client has an urgent contract opportunity for an AV Project Coordinator in Arlington, VA- PART TIME- 24 hours /week.

PLEASE NOTE
- While this work can be mostly performed remotely, occasional in-person site visits will be required due to the nature of this work.

This position will support the Unified Communications (UC) program as an AV Project Coordinator within the Customer Experience division in Department of Technology Services. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project work assignments to ensure the successful completion of conference room installations.

• Coordinating logistical activities of vendor, internal staff and users for all installations
• Facilitating project meetings
• Tracking and validating equipment deliveries
• Serving as primary point of contact for communication with departments to provide notification of upcoming work efforts
• Providing status reports during scheduled project meetings
• Escalating functional, quality, timeline issues to UC Program Manager and AV engineering team
• Coordinating the removal of existing equipment according to the client’s surplus disposal process, where applicable
• Assisting the UC Program Manager and AV engineering team as required

• 8+ years of relevant experience. Preference given to candidates with direct AV experience
• Experience related to implementation, installation and integration of AV hardware
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, across all levels of the organization
• Experience working for federal, state or local government agencies.
