NALEJ is hiring a Git Lab SME (Subject Matter Expert) to lead the configuration, operation, and security of our Git Lab Dev Sec Ops  platform. This role ensures seamless software delivery pipelines, secure source control, and automated compliance workflows across our development environments. You’ll work cross-functionally to enable CI/CD, Git Ops, and secure SCM practices in a DoD-compliant environment.

Remote (occasional in office in D.C.)

Certification Requirement: IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, SSCP, or CCNA Security)

• Administer and secure Git Lab (self-hosted) across multiple environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
• Integrate Git Lab with Kubernetes (Git Ops), scanners, and secrets management.
• Apply access control and DoD security standards within Git Lab projects and groups.
• Monitor system performance and pipeline efficiency.
• Manage Git Lab upgrades, backups, and failover strategies.
• Collaborate with developers and Dev Sec Ops  to optimize delivery pipelines.

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active or Interim DoD Security Clearance
• IAT Level II Certification (Security+, SSCP, or CCNA Security)
• 3+ years of Git Lab administration experience (self-hosted)
• Experience creating advanced Git Lab CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with SAST, DAST, and other Dev Sec Ops  tools
• Strong Linux and Git experience

• Knowledge of Git Ops workflows (e.g., Argo CD)
• Familiarity with Keycloak, OIDC/SAML authentication
• Experience with Git Lab in secure/air-gapped environments
• Prior experience supporting classified or FedRAMP systems
