CoStar Group is seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking procurement professional to serve as a strategic partner focused on technology spend management, Fin Ops, vendor optimization, and AI-enabled procurement transformation. This role will act as a subject matter expert supporting the modernization of procurement processes, driving cost optimization across technology investments, and identifying opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence and automation to improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines extensive technical knowledge and operations experience with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

This position is located in Arlington, Virginia and is in office Monday through Friday.

• Partner with business leaders, Finance, IT, Security, and Legal to support sourcing and procurement activities for technology-related spend.
• Assist vendor evaluations, RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier management activities.
• Analyze technology expenditures and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
• Support enterprise software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, and professional services procurement initiatives.
• Establish and maintain vendor performance metrics and scorecards.

• Partner with Finance and Technology teams to improve visibility into cloud and technology spending.
• Monitor usage trends and identify cost-saving opportunities across software, infrastructure, and technology services.
• Develop reporting and business insights that support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions.
• Assist in the development of governance processes related to cloud and technology spend.
• Support initiatives focused on improving the financial efficiency of technology investments.
• Evaluate emerging AI-enabled procurement solutions and recommend opportunities for adoption.
• Drive automation initiatives that streamline sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, and spend analytics processes.
• Leverage AI tools to improve procurement workflows, reporting, and decision support.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify repetitive or manual processes that can be enhanced through automation and intelligent technologies.
• Stay current on industry trends related to procurement technology, generative AI, machine learning, and digital transformation.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement policies, workflows, and stakeholder experience.
