AV Project Coordinator

Overview:

• This position will support the Unified Communications (UC) program as an AV Project Coordinator.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project work assignments to ensure the successful completion of conference room installations. While much of this work can be performed remotely, occasional in-person site visits will be required due to the nature of this work.

• Coordinating logistical activities of vendor, internal staff and users for all installations
• Facilitating project meetings
• Tracking and validating equipment deliveries
• Serving as primary point of contact for communication with departments to provide noti cation of upcoming work efforts
• Providing status reports during scheduled project meetings
• Escalating functional, quality, timeline issues to UC Program Manager and AV engineering team
• Coordinating the removal of existing equipment according to the Client's surplus disposal process, where applicable
• Assisting the UC Program Manager and AV engineering team as required

• 8+ years of technical program or project management experience leading large capital projects required. Preference given to candidates with direct AV experience
• 8+ years of experience related to implementation, installation and integration of AV hardware
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, across all levels of the organization
• Experience working for federal, state or local government agencies
