Job Description:

GDIT seeks a Collaboration Service Delivery Lead (M365) for our federal client who will provide oversight in areas Microsoft’s M365 Platform in a high volume, fast paced environment. Qualified candidates will have experience running large enterprise level teams across multiple locations, very strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will also have experience in program management activities such as budget and forecasting analysis, staffing and performance management, service improvement, and quality.

This role will manage the day-to-day work activities of the team, including timelines, customer experience, and relationship management, and prioritizing and allocating workflow. The successful candidate will also provide a productive and motivating working environment and address any issues/disputes from customers or clients.

• Engineer and develop solutions across Microsoft’s M365 platform, including core services and integrations.

• Build, deploy, and support solutions within Microsoft’s cloud environment, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient operations.

• Administer and enhance M365 online services such as Exchange Online, Teams, and Entra , ensuring reliability and performance.

• Design and implement solutions leveraging Microsoft Graph API for automation, integration, and data access.

• Apply ITIL standards and best practices to maintain a highly available and well‑governed operational environment.

• Translate business requirements into technical designs, specifications, and implementation plans.

• Lead systems engineering activities supporting a large, complex enterprise infrastructure.

• Contribute technical expertise within a managed‑services IT environment to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering, or 4 additional years of equivalent technical work experience.

• ITIL v4 Foundation or higher is required.

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience as an engineer or developer in Microsoft’s cloud environment.

• 2+ years of demonstrable experience as an engineer or developer on Microsoft’s M365 platform.

• Proficiency with Power Shell automation and M365 security capabilities.

• Skill in configuring DLP, MFA, Conditional Access, and Defender for M365.

• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.

• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration abilities.

• Comfort working with unknown variables and adapting to ad‑hoc changes.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to users with varying skill levels.

• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.
