JOB OVERVIEW:
The Certificate Specialist (an entry level role) supports the broker teams with certificates of insurance (COIs) for their accounts. Will work with a team of 8+ members issuing COIs. Additionally, team members will have a book of assigned accounts to oversee the servicing of all aspects of COIs, along with client satisfaction regarding COIs.
LOCATION - Hybrid is preferred, 3 days a week, in one of the following offices:
Alpharetta GA, Chicago IL, Arlington VA, or St Louis MO. May be open to remote for qualified candidates. MUST be willing to work Mon-Fri 10am-6pm EST or some variation of later hours.
What you’ll do:
- Work in a collaborative environment with your book of accounts and team accounts
- Assist with special projects, renewals, and client requests
- Review insurance requirements and contracts and apply to COIs
- Coordinate with broker teams on specific requirements/requests
- Communicate with clients and develop healthy business relationships
- Maintain client expectation of 24-hour turnaround time, and communicate when the TAT is not possible
- Perform other COI or team related duties that may be assigned from time to time
- Ability to work 10am – 6pm EST (or some variation of later hours)

The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
