Construction Law Attorney
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Arlington, VA 22201
Compensation: $130,000 – $185,000 annually

- Manage matters through all stages of litigation and pre-litigation proceedings
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies
- Represent and defend clients in complex construction disputes
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and substantive motions
- Participate in mediation, arbitration, and other ADR proceedings
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Appear in court for hearings and related proceedings
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the Virginia State Bar
- Strong understanding of construction law principles and contract frameworks
- Experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts
- Background representing clients in disputes involving breach of contract, surety bond claims, mechanic’s liens, and related construction matters
