Position: Supply Room Clerk (Secret Clearance Required)

Pay Range: $22 - $25 per hour
Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret Clearance
Start Date - Must be available ASAP
Location: Onsite in Arlington, VA

Job Title: Supply Room Clerk

Position Summary

The highly organized and detail-driven candidate will provide supply room support to a government agency in Arlington, VA. They must be customer-focused, punctual, proactive, collaborative, and flexible, with the ability to build strong working relationships with staff and customers at all levels.

Responsibilities

Provide support to Support Services Assistant

Operate a centralized supply room for government agency's headquarters

Operate an automated supply inventory management system

Prepare detailed supply room reports as required

Determine appropriate stock levels for authorized items, including forms needed

Stock supply room
Ensure sufficient quantities are on-hand
Draft Procurement Action for supplies needed to stock supply room
Gather source and price information
Create shopping carts via DoD email
Provide procurement action draft and shopping carts to designated government purchase cardholder

Receive stock supply items

Inspect stock supply items
Document overages, shortages, and any damages incurred in shipping
Provide invoice and receipt information to designated government purchase cardholder
Return damaged or incorrect items back to vendor

Issue supplies to personnel

Assist in delivery and handling of government property within ONR Headquarters

Assist in interoffice moves

Provide backup for duplicating machine operator and driver/courier as needed

Provide signed invoice/receipt documentation to the Purchase Cardholder after all supply items have been verified and accounted for

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

US Citizenship
* Active DoD SECRET Clearance*
Possess a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in operating a centralized supply room
Possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in operating an automated supply inventory management system
Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Possess a valid driver's license
Possess an acceptable driving record as evidenced by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check
